The buffering problem is not as bad as before! There still is buffering before, during and after the ad breaks, but not nearly as much. The blurriness problem after ad breaks still happens, but at least that problem goes away after about 90 seconds. But there is definite improvement that will hopefully last and even continue. I used to be able to access it even though I had horrific buffering issues.
And it was just plain slow. Now I can't even get into it. The discovery plus app just freezes on the discovery plus logo.
For an eternity. It is impossible to watch the app. Now what xfinity? Thanks so much for taking a moment out of your day to leave a post on our community forum! This did nothing. Your move xfinity. What next? Thank you for trying that step and I'm sorry that didn't help! I would be more than happy to look into this more and see if it's an account specific concern! If you could send our team a private message with your full name, the name listed on the account if different , and the service address associated with your account, we will be able to look into this further!

Maybe a little slow and the buffering problem but nothing too bad. Then, just this past weekend, all I get is the Discovery Plus logo and nothing else. Just sits there and stares at me. Discovery plus works on all my other devices fine phones, computers, even that same Android TV when not going through Comcast , so I'm guessing it is an Xfinity issue.
All other apps work fine within Xfinity. Please fix. Rebooted the box and get the same results. I am the OP above. I too am now not able to launch the App from X1. One day I was able to launch the App, last night I could not. If not, I'll cancel because it is not worth it.
I have more than 5 Apps on my tv and none of them do what this App is doing. Xfinity will tell you it's your equipment because they are clueless and have zero integrity when it comes to customer support. I bet there are alot more people having issues if not every one having issues.
What's the chance that Xfinity will issue credits for every one having the issue. The fix is cancel the app and just send a friendly email to Discovery letting them know that Xfinity Won't fix the issue so that's why they're not getting the subscribers they want. The buffering and blurry picture problems continue. For instance, I watched one episode of Meet Your Makers in total blur. Today I started watching another show and after the usual buffering at the start, there were 3 episodes of buffering during the first 10 minutes that involved stopping the show, a blank screen with the buffering symbol, and then a stuttering restart.
Each instance was at least a minute long. But wait -- it gets worse. Then right in the middle of the show, the screen freezes and after about a minute a pop-up message from Xfinity states that there is a problem with this app and then sends me out of the show and out of the app altogether. This is such a disaster. Channels and Programming.

A drop-down list appears. The program will compare the voltages and tell you which is greater. This program will transfer 64 bytes of data to the memory before a pause is needed to complete the write. Reads first 16 locations back and send to LCD repeatedly. Writes data in page mode, 8 bytes at one time. Memory device must be addressed with 8 bits and capable of receiving 8 bytes at once. Writes data in page mode, 16 bytes at one time. Reads 8 locations back and sends to LCD repeatedly. Buttons on LAB-X1 keypad are used to move servos. Button 1 moves servo left, 2 centers servo, 3 moves servo right. The strings can be called by storing the location of the first character in a variable and calling the strout subroutine. The string will be sent to both LCD and Serial pin and the main program will resume when the null terminating character is encountered in the table. A 60 segment bargraph is also displayed using custom LCD characters.
